Spoken English Through Tamil Class-03 - Negative sentence
Negative sentence : They are also statement which give negative ideas. Negative வாக்கியங்களில் 'Not' உபயோகிக்கப்படுகிறது. “இல்லை” என்ற பொருளை தரும்.
Examples :
1. எனக்கு ஆங்கிலம் தெரியாது - I don't know English.
2. அவள் நன்றாகப் பாடவில்லை - She does not sing well.
3. அவள் நேற்று வரவில்லை - She did not come yesterday.
4. நான் தாஜ்மகாலைப் பார்த்தில்லை - I have not seen the Taj Mahal.
5. அவனால் இந்தப்பெட்டியை தூக்க முடியாது - He can't lift this box. (box-பெட்டி, lift -தூக்கு)
6. அவர்கள் நாளை வரமாட்டார்கள் - They will not come tomorrow . (அவர்கள் - They, Tomorrow - நாளை)
7. அவர்கள் இப்போது படித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கவில்லை - They are not studying now.
8. அவன் நேற்று இரவு தொலைக்காட்சியை பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கவில்லை - He was not watching the TV last night.
9. நீ முன்னதாக வர வேண்டாம். - You Should not come earlier
10. அவள் நன்றாக சமைத்திருக்கவில்லை - She has not cooked well.
5. அவனால் இந்தப்பெட்டியை தூக்க முடியாது - He can't lift this box. (box-பெட்டி, lift -தூக்கு)
6. அவர்கள் நாளை வரமாட்டார்கள் - They will not come tomorrow . (அவர்கள் - They, Tomorrow - நாளை)
7. அவர்கள் இப்போது படித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கவில்லை - They are not studying now.
